Pat Cummins thanks Barmy Army for tribute to seriously ill mother Maria, cricket news 2023

Australian Test chief Pat Cummins has said thanks to English fans for a contacting recognition for his genuinely sick mother Maria during the second Test among Britain and New Zealand.

The Barmy Armed force shared a video of their trumpeter playing ‘Maria’ from West Side Story in acknowledgment of Cummins’ mum, who is in palliative consideration in Sydney.

Cummins flew home from the visit through India to accompany his mom and won’t return for the third Test in Indore after late news from her PCPs.

He imparted the video to her and afterward made a point to thank the no-nonsense fans for the demonstration.

“He thanked Barny Army. Mum adored watching this and felt exceptionally contacted ,”Cummins tweeted

The English record answered: “Goodness, we have tears. Enormous love Patty.” ️

Steve Smith will be Australia’s captain in absence of Cummins’ nonattendance with the third Test to start on Wednesday.
