Prithvi shaw emerges in fresh controversy after video with fight with fan went viral on internet
In shocking words, Indian batsmen Prithvi Shaw has landed in fresh controversy after a video went viral of scuffling with a fan on Thursday. The fans started attacking Prithvi Shaw after he refused to take selfies with two people at an unidentified location. In a viral video Prithvi Shaw can be seen indulging in the heated argument with the female fan.
After the incident took place, police came and registered the case against the culprits. According to ANI, Oshiwara Police has registered an FIR against 8 people who allegedly attacked the car of Prithvi Shaw’s friend after Prithvi refused to take a selfie with them a second time. There are multiple videos scattering over twitter as well showing the scuffle between them.
According to the police, this incident took place at a café at Sahara Star hotel on Wednesday. As per the reports by Indian express, it has come out that he has been attacked by a baseball bat after the Mumbai based star cricketer refused to take selfies for more photos. One more officer said that, while they were having dinner, two male and one female approached Prithvi for some photos. First Shaw cooperated but then it went too much and they started harassing Prithvi for more pictures .
On the other side the lawyer of the arrested women said that Cricketer Prithvi Shaw was drunk and hit her with his bat. The arrested woman has been identified as Sapna Gill, social media influencer confirmed by officials from Oshiwara Police Station. She was one of those 8 people against whom the case has been registered but the lawyer of women made allegations on Shaw of hitting the women with his bat.
Her lawyer said that, Now we will file a case against Prithvi Shaw because he was drunk. After that he drove the car by himself in a drunken state and we also came to know that he also hit one bike also. We will file a case against him under section 354, 509 and 334 on him. Sapna and Shaw had no relations before in between them. She just went to take a selfie as a fan, we are now trying to get bail for the influencer and then we will file FIR against the cricketer.
Today, Deputy Commissioner of Police Anil Paraskar said, this case is registered in Oshiwara Police Station under the section of unlawful assembly, extortion and other sections. The accused damaged the car of the complainant and demanded Rs 50000 to let go of the matter. One accused is under arrest out of eight.
Shaw was in a car when he got attacked by a mob and later he was sent home in a different car. But the people also chased Shaw’s friend’s car.
