Rohit notices Kohli inside the bus and paints the India star in “Virat ko laga”

Indian cricket players enthusiastically celebrated Holi, with none other than skipper Rohit Sharma setting the tone. A video of Rohit celebrating Holi with all of his teammates and support staff was put online by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), without any favouritism. In fact, Rohit seemed cheerful as he painted everyone he came across. The India skipper could even be heard imploring with his teammates to apply some makeup to Virat Kohli’s face.

Rohit begins the video by painting certain Indian team support staff members’ faces with colour. A couple Indian players were also seen brutally painting a teammate’s full face and head while holding him in one of the images.

As soon as the team bus arrived, Rohit gave Virat’s face some colour before going to Ravindra Jadeja, who requested that the captain be a little more relaxed around him. But the Hitman carried out each task in a unique manner.

Thereafter, a small group of players gathered at the back of the bus to paint Cheteshwar Pujara’s face. Other athletes and the support personnel experienced Holi to the fullest.

The Indian team is leading the 4-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy assignment 2-1 after winning the first two games before dropping the third one. On March 9, the series’ fourth and final game is set to start in Ahmedabad.

While Rohit Sharma has scored a tonne of runs in the series, other batsmen like Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, and others haven’t contributed much. The ball-carrying for Team India has been spearheaded by the spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin.

The Ahmedabad Test could see some changes because the pitch isn’t expected to assist spinners as strongly as it has this series’ other tests.
